- :What gives you the idea that they were responsible for the damage??? They
- :don't package them, they are already packed and sealed in plastic wrap when
- :they get them for distribution, so it was obviously a manufacturing defect
- :which is the responsibility of the distributor (Amiga Lib. Services) to
- :correct. Since they agreed to do that without question, I don't see where
- :you have a problem, it's always faster to go back to the originator of the
- :product for support.
-
- :I have dealt with Safe Harbor both as a customer and a distributor, and
- :always found them to be courteous and forthright. They seem to have
- :offered to check out the problem for you, perhaps your expectations were
- :unreasonable.
-
- So if you go to the grocery story and buy a frozen dinner, find it to
- be unusable, you will send it back to the manufacturer? I think not.
- I have also dealt with Safe Harbor and have been happy BUT I have never
- needed to deal with returns. If thier damaged goods policy is to send
- it back to the manufacturer, where-ever in the multiverse that may be,
- then I will re-think future purchases. When I pay for the product and
- include shipping charges, I should not have to pay for shipping again
- to get what I have already paid for. If you do not agree then I have
- a LOT of software on old floppies I am willing to sell ;)
